Turkey has supplied Syrian armed groups in Idlib with anti-aircraft missiles, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik. The military aid includes advanced weaponry, such as American TOW, and Kornet and Konkurs anti-tank guided missiles, in addition to man-portable air-defense systems MANPADs, photos and videos published online by Turkish-backed armed groups have shown. According to Sputnik, one of the Turkish-supplied MANPADs was used by the militants to hit a Su-22M4 fighter bomber of the Syrian Arab Air Force over northern Hama last week.

Turkish-backed islamists fire a Konkurs missile in the province of Hama against Syrian government forces.
A spokesman for the Turkey-backed National Liberation Front (NLF), Captain Naji Mustafa, did not confirm or deny any new supplies by Turkey, saying rebels had long had a big arsenal of weapons from anti-tank to armored vehicles “alongside material and logistical support by our Turkish brothers.”
